Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Medical Representatives to achieve revenue, profit targets, and client satisfaction
• Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance and guiding professional development
• Conduct onboarding training for new staff in conjunction with HR and Learning and Development programs
• Act as a coach and mentor for Medical Sales Representatives
• Drive the effectiveness of Electronic Territory Management Systems and ensure compliance with reporting standards
• Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet regional revenue and contribution targets
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective action plans to prevent performance deficiencies
• Ensure the reporting of any identified Adverse Events in line with prevailing guidelines
• Maintain a professional company image in accordance with the Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or a related field
• 5 years of medical sales experience, including previous line management experience
• Strong understanding of the Pharma Market and related procedures
• Knowledge of health service structures and procedures at both national and local levels
• Proficiency in MS Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
• Valid Driver's License
