Area Sales Manager Hospital

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets within assigned hospital accounts
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, clinicians, procurement, and administrative staff
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training for healthcare professionals
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
• Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to management
• Negotiate and finalize sales contracts in compliance with company policies and ethical guidelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and technical support teams
• Manage and monitor the sales funnel from lead generation to deal closure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Proven expertise within the hospital segment and understanding of hospital procurement processes
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
