Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to promote the Diatherix Eurofins product line
• Identify and develop new client opportunities to meet sales targets in the assigned region
• Educate customers on product value, ROI, and value-added propositions
• Manage sales forecasting, budget tracking, and competitive market analysis
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to implement strategic sales and marketing plans
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt resolutions to problems or concerns
• Maintain organized territory management and prioritize project planning and customer deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (Biological sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience selling pharmaceuticals, laboratory services, or medically-related services
• Proven experience working within the outpatient physician market
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Ability to work independently in a large territory and manage change effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling molecular diagnostics in the outpatient physician market
• Success calling on Pediatricians, GI, Family Practice, and Primary Care providers
• B2B sales experience involving cold calling for new business acquisition
• Knowledge related to PCR, infection prevention and control, and antimicrobials
