About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls with physicians, nurses, and key purchase influencers to demonstrate and sell capital and disposable products.
  • Execute Sales Action Plans to achieve established quotas and sales objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Plan and strategize sales calls to hospital departments, outpatient surgery centers, and doctors' offices.
  • Provide clinical support and service to medical personnel within a surgical environment.
  • Maintain company-owned property, inventory, and demonstration equipment in good working condition.
  • Report competitive activity and maintain timely records and reports.
  • Travel within the territory and perform overnight travel as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 8+ years of relevant experience (medical device, MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences).
  • OR Associate’s Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% overnight.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds and transport demonstration equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience with Medtronic products or systems.
  • Local residency within the assigned territory.
