About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute growth strategies for the US Central Region by managing all resources within the district.
- Track performance for all territories, set quarterly goals, and monitor execution.
- Deploy pricing strategies to maximize margins and contribute to the regional budget process.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with end users, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms.
- Set goals for manufacturer representatives and distribution partners using performance scorecards.
- Forecast monthly sales volumes for the upcoming three months and report to management.
- Train, lead, and coach direct reports, including conducting performance reviews and succession planning.
- Manage business to budget using data analytics to drive results.
Requirements
- Ability to travel 75% of the time (on the road 3+ days per week).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the power utility (electrical/energy) industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (preferably in engineering, sales, or construction).
- Proven experience proactively seeking new clients and completing sales calls.
- Experience resolving customer concerns and providing tangible solutions.
- Must reside within the US Central Region (specifically covering TX, OK, AR, IA, MO, KS, MI, WI, LA, MN, ND, SD, KY, NE, or IL).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Background in HDPE Conduit, Innerduct, or Utility Infrastructure manufacturing.
- Experience with Electrical & EV Infrastructure suppliers or Fiber Optic/OSP construction companies.
