Area Project Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide area-level leadership across multiple concurrent construction projects to ensure alignment with program goals, budgets, and schedules
• Drive standardization and best practices across cost management, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reporting
• Lead a team of cost managers responsible for monthly cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and change/risk management
• Assess overall cost and schedule health across an area or program to identify trends and risks early
• Develop and communicate actionable financial and schedule insights to senior leadership and clients
• Manage performance of onsite vendors providing cost management and scheduling services
• Partner cross-functionally with construction, engineering, and procurement teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in Project Controls and Construction Cost Management
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with area- or program-level accountability
• Proven leadership of program-wide initiatives focused on standardization
• Advanced financial and analytical skills for evaluating cost and schedule performance
• Experience leading teams and managing external vendors
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, large-scale construction environments
