Area Program Development Facilitator

Responsibilities

• Facilitate partnerships with local stakeholders, including community groups, NGOs, and government agencies, to mobilize resources for child well-being.
• Lead commune-level planning activities and facilitate annual community review sessions to ensure program ownership and sustainability.
• Manage and implement technical project activities in assigned communes, ensuring alignment with child-focused development approaches.
• Mainstream cross-cutting themes such as Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) across all activities.
• Support community-based monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (DMEAL) by collecting field data and facilitating reflection meetings.
• Strengthen child protection mechanisms and promote children's participation and leadership within the community.
• Support sponsorship integration and child monitoring, including case management for registered children.
• Integrate disaster risk reduction and climate change response into program planning and implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community mobilization and stakeholder management.
• Strong technical skills in project implementation within a development context.
• Experience supporting Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (DMEAL) processes.
• Demonstrated ability in child protection advocacy and promoting child participation.
• Knowledge of disaster risk reduction (DRR) and humanitarian response principles.
• Ability to work closely with local partners to build capacity and implement technical models.
