Area Mechanic-HVAC Refrigeration Tech

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, steam generation, and hot water heaters
• Maintain mechanical systems including belts, bearings, motors, pumps, walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice maker machines
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust electrical components such as pilots, thermostats, burners, transformers, controls, relays, and switches
• Respond to trouble tickets throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts property
• Utilize specialized tools including multimeters, refrigerant gauges, and charging stations
• Perform repairs on plumbing, commercial kitchen equipment, and air compressors

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in refrigeration
• Universal EPA Certification (Type I, II, and III)
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and components
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency with standard office software and mobile electronic devices
