Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations within the dark store, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
• Ensure operational goals, targets, and service level agreements are consistently met or exceeded
• Set performance expectations, provide coaching, and manage staffing needs to maintain a high-performing team
• Analyze operational processes to identify and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency and productivity
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess departmental performance

Requirements

• Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or distribution
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strategic mindset
• Solid understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control processes
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and safety protocols
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
