About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations within the dark store, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Ensure operational goals, targets, and service level agreements are consistently met or exceeded
- Set performance expectations, provide coaching, and manage staffing needs to maintain a high-performing team
- Analyze operational processes to identify and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency and productivity
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess departmental performance
Requirements
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or distribution
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strategic mindset
- Solid understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control processes
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and safety protocols
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
