About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract delivery and performance for a diverse portfolio of community services across Central NT
  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development to Program Managers to foster a high-performing culture
  • Manage and monitor operational budgets of approximately $8.3M, ensuring financial sustainability and accurate reporting
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies, funders, and community stakeholders
  • Oversee regional workforce planning, including recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
  • Respond to critical incidents with calm, effective leadership to ensure safety and best practice outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for service growth and regional strategy contribution

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Human Services, Management, or a related discipline
  • 5–7+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex service environments
  • Proven financial and operational management capability, including oversight of multiple programs and budgets
  • In-depth knowledge of Aboriginal cultural systems, protocols, and a commitment to culturally safe practice
  • Strong understanding of homelessness, housing services, mental health, AOD, and family/domestic violence
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills with experience working alongside government and community partners
  • Full driver licence with no restrictions
