Area Manager, Inbound Hub Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage, build, and develop a team of 30+ inbound associates across dock, receiving, and processing
• Review weekly inbound volume and WRO forecasts to identify productivity and staffing requirements
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure efficient shifts
• Own inbound hub metric reporting including UPH, cycle time, and inventory accuracy
• Manage dock scheduling and inbound appointment flow with carriers and merchants
• Oversee receiving processes including quality checks, product verification, and 3D scanning
• Drive hub-to-transfer cycle time and reduce inbound dwell to meet 3-day SLAs
• Coordinate timely internal transfer of inventory to regional spoke fulfillment centers
• Train, coach, and provide accountability to team members and Lead talent
• Foster employee engagement and maintain a positive workplace culture
• Review and approve associate timecards daily
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance

Requirements

• 2+ years of people management and operational leadership in a high-volume 3PL fulfillment environment
• Experience leading inbound/receiving operations (receiving, putaway, and stow)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerBI, and TMS systems
• Strong analytical skills and experience tracking KPIs
• Ability to manage performance, deliver feedback, and develop talent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8-10 hour shifts
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
