Area Manager I, Production

Responsibilities

• Communicate with employees and leads while providing coaching and development to shift hourly associates
• Report production information and updates to managers throughout every shift
• Resolve employee issues through appropriate problem resolution
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results
• Manage departmental performance measures and visual controls
• Provide regular progress reports to Associate Production Manager/Manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or related work experience
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
• Ability to train and develop large groups and manage multiple production lines
• Computer literacy for data input
• Ability to work in cool or cold environments (10º - 40º)
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
