Area Manager I

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams of 30+ members in the Return to Inventory (RTI) area
• Monitor and report on inventory accuracy and data integrity
• Control staging and organization of materials in the RTI cooler following FIFO standards
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with OSHA standards
• Coordinate physical movement of inventory and manage cycle counts
• Communicate with various departments via email and Slack to ensure accurate inventory numbers

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory or a similar position
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hours and lift 50-70 lbs
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules and varying hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of inventory management software
• Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
