About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily stamping operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Maintenance, People, Environmental, and Innovation (SQDCMPEI) objectives
  • Develop, coach, and mentor salaried and hourly team members to maximize engagement and performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste elimination, quality, and cost reduction using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and make informed, data-driven business decisions
  • Lead problem-solving activities using structured methodologies and root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, A3, PFMEA)
  • Ensure strict compliance with manufacturing standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements
  • Support the implementation of new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline)
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred/considered a must
  • 5-6 years of professional experience, including progressive leadership in automotive manufacturing
  • Proven experience leading large manufacturing teams in a high-volume production environment
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing and root cause analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically within automotive stamping operations
  • Knowledge of the Ford Production System (FPS) or similar manufacturing systems
  • Experience with automation and Industry 4.0 manufacturing technologies
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as Minitab
  • Experience with change management and large-scale project management
