Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach shift hourly associates in a production environment
• Communicate respectfully with employees, leads, and management
• Monitor daily production, quality, productivity, cost, and safety metrics
• Conduct shift and safety meetings, interviews, and accident investigations
• Track absenteeism, timekeeping, and departmental performance measures
• Submit shift paperwork and respond to emails in a timely manner
• Continuously improve processes and resolve employee issues

Requirements

• Proven leadership and ability to train large employee groups
• Experience managing multiple production lines
• Results-driven with strong multitasking and problem-resolution skills
• Computer literacy for data input and reporting
• Ability to work in cool/cold environments (10º–40º)
• Tactful and diplomatic communication with diverse teams
