Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Communicate respectfully with all employees and leads
• Provide coaching, development, and training to shift hourly associates
• Report production updates and information to managers throughout the shift
• Resolve employee issues and manage departmental performance measures
• Conduct daily shift and safety meetings
• Perform accident investigations and track absenteeism/timekeeping
• Manage department priorities and continuous process improvement

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or related work experience
• Ability to train and develop large groups of employees
• Computer literacy for data input
• Ability to work in cool or cold environments (10º - 40º)
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment
