Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Coach, manage, and develop a team of 30-100 associates on the operating floor
• Communicate policies, maintain compliance, and take corrective action when needed
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment
• Own performance reporting for assigned areas, including receiving, shipping, and inventory accuracy
• Hold the team to strict SLA expectations and provide clear performance reports
• Facilitate troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point for fulfillment-related problems
• Review defect rates and inventory gaps to identify root causes and implement strategic improvements
• Track learnings and best practices to contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing a staff of 5 or more
• Experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or transportation/logistics management
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
• Experience working with SQL and creating/running reports
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for 10-12 hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnights, holidays, and weekends
