Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead ICQA (Inventory Control and Quality Assurance) operations, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and compliance with SOX regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
• Manage and develop a team of area managers and hourly associates, fostering engagement and professional growth.
• Analyze customer complaints, defect data, and KPIs to identify root causes of inventory deviation and develop corrective action plans.
• Support safety programs and compliance to maintain a secure work environment for all associates.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for fulfillment center processes.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data organization, time management, and multitasking in complex environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of seniority.
• Ability to manage business functions in a 24/7 operational environment, including holidays.
• Resilient problem-solving skills with a self-starter mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in a science or logistics-based discipline with a strong analytical focus.
• Direct experience in Inventory Control and Quality Assurance management.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting functions as they relate to inventory.
• Practical experience with Lean and Six Sigma techniques.
• Proficiency with SQL for creating and running data reports.
