Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Coach, manage, and develop a team of 30-100 associates
• Communicate company policies and maintain compliance and consistency across the team
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment
• Own performance reporting for assigned areas, including on-time receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, and packing quality
• Hold the team to strict SLA expectations and provide clear verbal and written performance reports
• Facilitate troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point to mitigate risks and resolve operational issues
• Identify root causes for inventory gaps and defect trends to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Growth and Engineering teams to prioritize the resolution of systemic problems

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing a staff of 5 or more
• Experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or transportation/logistics management
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
• Experience working with SQL to create and run reports
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for 10-12 hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnights, holidays, and weekends
