Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safety rules
• Meet process, product quality, and volume targets
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Provide training and development to team members
• Manage maintenance programs, tooling, and associated costs
• Drive continuous improvement efforts and manage area staffing and budgets

Requirements

• Associates or college degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors, pumps, fans, blowers, and conveyors
• Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process improvement principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to climb cranes over 100 feet and work at heights

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of leadership experience
