Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and profit growth within the Global Manufacturing division through consultative sales and system assurance programs
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-5 sales and service associates, including sales engineers and technical service representatives
• Develop and execute district business plans to maximize revenue and meet profit increase goals
• Generate accurate monthly sales forecasts and revenue predictions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and senior management/executives
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning to maximize ROI for all district tools and resources
• Champion corporate initiatives and lead District Meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of experience leading and developing teams
• 5 years of successful technical or outside sales experience using a consultative approach
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel approximately 25% (overnight travel required)
• Ability to reside within a commutable distance of Atlanta, GA

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry)
• MBA degree
• 10 years of technical or outside sales experience, including managing multi-level plant or facility management relationships
• Extensive knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, or paper processing
