Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, quality control, production, maintenance, and sanitation
• Maintain optimum productivity levels and manage costs of services provided to branch customers
• Ensure all crews deliver products within specified quality, condition, and food safety protocols (HAACP, OSHA, and Primus standards)
• Manage staffing levels, schedules, and hourly staff training to meet projected volume
• Provide real-time coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to team members
• Monitor supplies, packaging, and raw materials required for daily operations
• Identify areas for process improvement through root cause problem solving and metric analysis

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of efficient and safe warehousing practices
• Basic computer skills and manual dexterity for operating machinery
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work full shifts in a temperature-controlled environment (as low as 35 degrees)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
• Ability to deliver accurate and organized results under pressure in a multi-task environment
