Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a defined project area, ensuring alignment with design, program, and commercial targets
• Manage cost, forecasting, and programme performance independently
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving performance and capability
• Coordinate engineering, construction, and subcontractor activities to achieve key milestones
• Monitor performance, mitigate risks, and implement improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Strong civil construction delivery experience
• Minimum 8+ years of site-based experience
• Experience delivering packages valued between $100M and $200M
• Proven ability to manage cost and programme independently
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including managing teams of engineers
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to forecast and manage risk
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
