Area Manager, B2B

Responsibilities

• Manage, build, and develop a team of 50+ warehouse associates
• Review weekly work forecasts and identify productivity requirements
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure efficient shifts
• Own operational metric reporting including VCPO, UPH, OPH, and merchant SLAs
• Train, coach, and provide accountability to team members
• Develop Lead talent through necessary tools and resources
• Foster employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
• Review and approve associate timecards daily
• Resolve escalated issues and mitigate operational risks
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Supervise daily workflows to ensure quality and safety standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of people management and operational leadership experience in high-volume B2B or wholesale environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
• Strong analytical skills and experience tracking KPIs
• Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma
• Ability to manage performance and develop talent
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and navigate ambiguity
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and non-traditional hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8-10 hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ecommerce or retail industries
• Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or General Management
