Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity within your assigned department
• Review work forecasts and determine daily productivity requirements to meet building objectives
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure efficient shift operations
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe work environment
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools
• Manage and train a team of warehouse associates to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Direct management experience for employees and their performance
• Experience working with performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
