Area Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Develop Annual Operating S&E and Capital Budgets for multiple direct and indirect plants in conjunction with site finance personnel.
• Prepare and oversee monthly site financial reports and review data with the Regional Managerial Team.
• Develop and review internal controls to protect assets, maintain record accuracy, and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage asset capitalization and track monthly capital spending, partnering with engineering teams on project management and payback validation.
• Assist plant personnel in developing and reviewing cost improvement projects.
• Provide variance analysis to departmental managers to aid in cost reduction.
• Partner with Plant Managers to set goals, write appraisals, and manage training requirements for subordinates.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience within a Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization.
• Extensive knowledge of Sherwin-Williams GSC systems.
• Fluency in English and any other relevant local language.
• Ability to work independently and travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Previous experience as an Industrial Controller.
