About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide managerial oversight for an 11-program Adult Family Home (AFH) service segment.
- Supervise, train, and develop up to three Program Directors.
- Manage all aspects of program financial performance, including budgets of $5-7M, contract adherence, and rate negotiation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, licensing, and safety standards are met across all programs.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with funding sources, regulatory bodies, and families.
- Assess and propose policies to improve program efficiency and address service gaps.
- Oversee person-centered planning, advocacy, and the maintenance of the physical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Business, or a related field.
- 4 years of managerial experience in human services or healthcare preferred.
- Experience in behavior reduction/elimination strategies and mental/behavioral health crisis prevention.
- Proven experience managing budgets in the $5-7M range.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to reside within a 1-hour drive of Chippewa Falls / Eau Claire, WI, or willingness to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in service delivery to individuals with challenging behaviors or complex mental health needs.
- Familiarity with industry software such as Planful, Ultipro, Kronos, Therap, or E-Guardianship.
