Area Development Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all programming and project activities within the assigned Area Program to ensure child well-being outcomes.
• Lead the adaptation of Technical Programs, including the completion of logframes, DMEAL plans, and narrative ADP plans.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor ADP staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Manage ADP resources, budgets, and procurement in compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with local government, community stakeholders, and NGOs.
• Integrate Child Sponsorship into programming to ensure transformative relationships for children and sponsors.
• Support community-based disaster preparedness plans and climate change adaptation initiatives.
• Participate in proposal design and grant acquisition activities to support program sustainability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in community development or project management with NGOs or development organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in community development, social sciences, development studies, public administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in planning, monitoring, and reporting using DMEAL tools and logframe-based management.
• Demonstrated experience in people management and leading project teams or volunteers.
• Strong experience in budget management and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools.
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certification in Project Management.
• Experience with sponsorship operations, grant/PNS projects, or disaster risk reduction (DRR).
• Specialized training in child protection or community engagement.
