Area Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Supervise resident assistants (7-15) and lead staff committees regarding recruitment, training, and wellness
• Create a safe, secure, and learner-centered environment within assigned housing complexes
• Serve as a 24-hour on-call contact for housing emergencies, including weeknights and weekends
• Manage general area operations, including budget management, occupancy, and assessment
• Support student development through residential curriculum, mentoring, and educational programming
• Enforce the campus code of conduct and facilitate educational conduct meetings
• Provide crisis management interventions and refer students to appropriate campus resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of related experience
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing, and time management skills
• Proficiency with computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to live on campus

• Master's degree
