Area Business Director

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop a best-in-class sales team with a patient-first mentality
• Design and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives
• Drive team performance through clear goal setting, tailored coaching, and recognition
• Manage key business relationships with major health systems, practice networks, and GPOs
• Utilize sales data and analytics to build launch plans and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with brand marketing and commercial training teams on strategy and skill-building
• Ensure sales staff compliance with company policies and ethical standards

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience
• 8-12+ years of experience leading an oncology sales team
• Proven track record of leading product launches, ideally in NSCLC
• Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics
• Experience in small to midsize biotech environments
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel approximately 50%

Preferred Qualifications

• MA/MS, MBA, PharmD, or PhD degree
• Specific experience in the NSCLC oncology space
• Oral Oncolytic product launch experience
• Expertise in market access, distribution, and oncology business operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
