About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the program chair and the Architecture Program, serving as a primary point of contact for faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with strategic initiatives, including curricular development, community events, and exhibition development.
  • Organize program meetings and events, including room reservations, AV coordination, catering, and material creation.
  • Manage the chair's calendar, prioritize commitments, and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Coordinate with college departments such as facilities, student affairs, finance, and communications to resolve operational issues.
  • Manage travel arrangements, itineraries, expense reports, and honoraria for the chair and program guests.
  • Maintain streamlined record-keeping and budget tracking systems, including support for accreditation reviews.
  • Handle course material purchases, PCard reconciliation, and expense reporting.
  • Create program posters and other graphic materials for the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible administrative and project management experience.
  • Advanced technology skills, specifically with the Google Suite.
