About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage complex tasks on small to large-scale healthcare projects
- Plan, organize, and direct project work to ensure successful delivery to clients
- Lead project teams to ensure designs meet client budget, schedule, and design intent
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and overall work plans
- Coordinate project meetings with internal teams, external consultants, owners, and contractors
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and motivate multidisciplinary project teams
- Manage change orders, contractor payment applications, and contractual modifications
- Direct client invoicing and effectively manage collections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- Licensed Architect (California licensure preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Newforma
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Thorough understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, and building construction systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with California Healthcare (HCAI) projects
- Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, and Bluebeam
- Experience with the implementation of Lean Tools
- LEED Green Associate or LEED AP certification
