About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects through all phases of design and construction
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout project development
- Oversee the preparation and review of design documentation and construction drawings
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and AECOM standards
- Provide architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, and recommendations for assigned projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program
- 6+ years of professional experience or demonstrated equivalency
- Experience in architectural project management
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Project
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Licensed Architect in California
- Experience in the California market
- LEED Accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices
- Strong understanding of California building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes
- Experience with public and private sector projects (mixed-use, commercial, or institutional)
