Requirements
20 years architectural supervision experience, Middle East consulting industry experience, Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering, Professional membership (PE/Peng, CEng), LEED GA or AP certification preferred
About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural discipline team to ensure construction aligns with approved plans and technical standards
- Provide expert support to multi-disciplinary engineers to ensure smooth project execution and technical excellence
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and contract documents
- Interpret and clarify technical aspects of contract documents to support accurate on-site implementation
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve technical issues to maintain project schedules
- Report and highlight non-conformities related to construction and engineering activities
- Coordinate with Design Engineers to implement necessary design modifications during construction
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships and respond effectively to technical queries
- Monitor the performance of Design Consultants regarding shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals
- Oversee health and safety compliance during construction activities
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of demonstrable experience in architectural supervision and project administration
- Extensive experience with large-scale projects within the Middle East consulting industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or an equivalent field
- Professional membership in a recognized institution (e.g., PE/Peng, CEng)
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED GA or LEED AP certification
