Architectural Inspector

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure all architectural engineering aspects of the project comply with inspection plans, drawings, codes, and specifications
• Perform architectural and material inspections, including field checks on the placement and quality of finishes and building components
• Verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors and process inspection requests and technical submittals
• Review and monitor contractor shop drawings and documents to rectify issues affecting architectural stability or function
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to contractors and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Maintain detailed site records, including daily site diaries, progress photography, and logs of all submittals and tests
• Liaise with senior engineers, project managers, and contractor management to expedite approvals and submissions
• Monitor safety aspects related to architectural installations and report on HSE-related matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of overall professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience working within the UAE
• Proven experience in Construction Supervision within a Consultancy environment
• Extensive experience in architectural-type projects, including residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality developments
• Strong knowledge of building codes, architectural methodologies, and construction techniques
• Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills for report writing and coordination
