Architectural Inspector

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure all architectural engineering aspects of the project are executed according to plans, drawings, codes, and specifications
• Perform thorough site inspections for all architectural works, including material inspections and field checks on finishes and building components
• Review and monitor contractor shop drawings and documents to identify issues affecting the stability or function of architectural systems
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to contractors and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily site diaries, progress photography, and logs of all submittals and tests
• Monitor contractor compliance with approved Quality Control Plans and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
• Liaise with Senior Architectural Engineers, project managers, and contractors to expedite approvals and resolve technical issues
• Provide regular reports on the progress of architectural project components

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in building construction
• Strong knowledge of architectural codes, specifications, and industry standards
• Proven ability to perform rigorous site inspections and material testing
