Architectural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual and detailed architectural design for building architecture in the post-sales stage.
• Design mechanical parts including wall and floor penetrations, doors, hardware, flashing, and water mitigation.
• Create Schematic Design (SD), Detail Design (DD), and Construction Drawing (CD) narratives.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers on thermal transfer calculations, fire ratings, and thermal bridges.
• Work with business units and vendors to specify appropriate material specifications and sizes for fabrication.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and municipal requirements.
• Provide technical project coordination with customers and suppliers, including quality control during execution.
• Perform design validation and workmanship audits at fabricator facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and equipment specifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• Proven project management and leadership skills.
