About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure all design projects uphold company design standards
- Establish project goals and oversee small teams to produce designs
- Assist team members with project budgets and timelines
- Translate design principles into unique store locations
- Identify and solve design and construction problems collaboratively
- Develop form, proportion, scale, and materiality for architectural projects
- Ensure building systems are functional, reliable, and safe according to building codes
- Collaborate with interior designers, engineers, and contractors
- Prepare sketches, renderings, and construction documents using design software
- Perform post-occupancy evaluations to ensure project success
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited college
- Proficiency in Revit, Enscape for Revit, and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with Google Apps or Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to diagram designs both digitally and by hand
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 4 years of relatable experience
- Experience in retail, warehouse, or corporate workplace sectors
- Professional licensure
- Experience across all phases of project delivery from conceptual to construction
- Experience with Twinmotion
