About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead various phases of architectural projects, including design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
  • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule under the guidance of senior leadership
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with in-house disciplines and external consultants
  • Contribute to project design through sketches, 3D modeling, and the development of creative, practical solutions
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct code analysis, material research, and specification writing
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Support business development activities through proposal input and project presentations

Requirements

  • Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor or Master of Architecture)
  • Current Architect License
  • 11-15 years of experience specifically with higher education projects and clients
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proven experience in construction documentation and building detailing
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform limited project-related travel within 400 miles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Ability to create engaging graphics for building design presentations
