About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead various phases of architectural projects, including design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with in-house disciplines and external consultants
- Manage project scope, budget, and schedule under the guidance of senior leadership
- Contribute to project design through sketches, 3D modeling, and the development of creative, practical solutions
- Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct code analysis, material research, and specification writing
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Support business development activities through proposal input and project presentations
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (Bachelor or Master of Architecture)
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Substantial experience in construction documentation and building detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Active architectural license
- Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup, and other graphics programs
- Experience creating engaging graphics for building design presentations
