Architect

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and control segments of extensive engineering programs or entire programs of moderate scope
• Provide technical guidance and management of design services, including proposal creation, work plans, and client relations
• Oversee design reviews, construction documentation, specification development, and QA/QC processes
• Perform code analysis and review construction phase shop drawings
• Manage all phases of project planning and execution, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction
• Coordinate with BIM/CAD support teams to incorporate new designs into existing facility models
• Conduct field-related work to collect design information and verify designs for tie-ins and clearances

Requirements

• US or Australian citizenship
• US TS/SCI clearance with Poly or Australian PV clearance
• BA/BS in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Licensed Architect
• 10+ years of architectural design experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
• Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
• Extensive experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Proven track record in project management for large-scale, complex projects
