About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage cultural heritage linked to renewable energy projects
- Prepare, manage, and follow up on files to obtain the Certificate of Non-Existence of Archaeological Remains on the Surface (CIRAS)
- Plan, execute, and supervise Archaeological Monitoring Plans (PMAR)
- Conduct field inspections and archaeological monitoring during construction works
- Identify and record archaeological evidence
- Prepare technical reports and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture
Requirements
- Professional degree in Archaeology
- Minimum 5 years of experience in archaeological management and cultural heritage
- Experience in preparing and processing CIRAS
- Experience in executing and supervising PMAR in the electricity sector (desirable)
- Knowledge of current cultural heritage regulations and Ministry of Culture procedures
- Proficiency with GPS, cartography, and GIS tools (desirable)
- Availability for field work and national travel
- Driver's license (Category A1 or higher)
- Resident of Arequipa
