Master's degree in archaeology or anthropology, 2-7 years of field experience in Oregon, Secretary of Interior-Qualified Archaeologist, Oregon State-Qualified archaeologist certification, Experience leading field teams, Technical report writing experience, Valid driver's license, Ability to lift 50 lbs

About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor construction activities and identify archaeological resources
- Effectively communicate with construction crews and project personnel
- Write and maintain written daily survey, monitoring, recordation, and cataloging logs
- Utilize electronic data collection tools and GIS mapping applications
- Lead field teams and projects
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field
- 2-7 years of field experience in Oregon
- Secretary of Interior-Qualified Archaeologist status
- Oregon State-Qualified archaeologist certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience leading field teams and projects
- Experience writing technical reports
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and walk long distances
- Valid driver's license and experience driving 4WD vehicles off-road
- Access to OARRA or ability to obtain access
Preferred Qualifications
- Public speaking skills
- Previous laboratory experience
