Bachelors in Anthropology or Field Certification, Prior archaeological field survey experience, Knowledge of archaeological survey protocols, Ability to walk 6-8 hours per day, Ability to work in variable weather and varied terrain
About the role
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect land surfaces for the presence of archaeological and historic built resources
- Work collaboratively with team members in the field
- Maintain strict compliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements
- Perform other field duties as assigned to support project goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Field Certification from a junior college
- Prior experience conducting archaeological field surveys
- Working knowledge of archaeological survey protocols
- Ability to walk for 6-8 hours per day while conducting surveys
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain
- Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting field surveys in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, or Colorado
