About the role

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect land surfaces for the presence of archaeological and historic built resources
  • Work collaboratively with team members in the field
  • Maintain strict compliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements
  • Perform other field duties as assigned to support project goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Field Certification from a junior college
  • Prior experience conducting archaeological field surveys
  • Working knowledge of archaeological survey protocols
  • Ability to walk for 6-8 hours per day while conducting surveys
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain
  • Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting field surveys in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, or Colorado
