Arborist

Responsibilities

• Conduct tree assessments to determine health, vitality, and risk factors
• Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal in accordance with industry standards
• Identify and diagnose tree diseases and pests and develop treatment plans
• Provide recommendations for tree planting and selection
• Operate and maintain tree care equipment and tools
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide solutions
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Arborist
• Deep knowledge of tree species, care practices, and diseases
• Proficiency in tree climbing, pruning, and removal techniques
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, or related field
• Experience working with commercial and municipal clients
• ISA Certified Arborist or ISA Tree Worker Climber Specialist certification
