Arabic Teacher A

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Arabic language education to Cycle 1 students (Years 1-3/4).
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in alignment with the National Curriculum for England.
• Foster a vibrant, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for young learners.
• Integrate educational technology and interactive tools to enhance language instruction.
• Monitor, track, and report on student progress and language acquisition.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues within a multicultural environment.
• Comply with all ADEK standards and school safeguarding policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education, or a related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or QTS).
• 2-3 years of full-time primary teaching experience, preferably in a British curriculum setting.
• Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Arabic.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication in an international school.
• Possession of an ADEK Teacher License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a diverse, multicultural international school environment.
• Expertise in age-appropriate pedagogical approaches for early primary language learners.
