AR Accountant

Responsibilities

• Process and ensure the timely completion of month-end closing procedures
• Work closely with the Finance Department to assist with various reconciliations
• Assist with the processing and delegation of student payments
• Ensure proper application of manual student Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT)
• Ensure all other cash receipts are posted and deposited on a daily basis
• Oversee common email inboxes to ensure timely responses to inquiries
• Provide support to financial aid, recruitment, and registration efforts as needed
• Ensure end-of-day procedures are run accurately and properly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Accounting preferred
• At least two years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in a university setting
• Fluency in Spanish, English, and French
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Word
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Ability to work as a self-starter, maintain attention to detail, and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics ERP
