Aquatics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support the development of staff schedules and assist in onboarding, training, and development of department employees
• Provide direct program support as a Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and/or Swim Team Coach
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, and evaluations to department staff
• Assist with the administration and monitoring of the department budget
• Manage communication with members and participant parents
• Coordinate birthday party logistics, including booking, payments, and contracts
• Oversee the care and maintenance of aquatics equipment and facilities

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or higher in sports management, recreation management, applied health, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and/or Swim Team Coach
• Current nationally recognized Swim Instructor and/or Lifeguard certifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer/tablet functions
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
