APU Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Initiate QRQC in VIM database and participate in containment validation
• Support APU and Site Managers in analyzing issues assigned during QRQC activities
• Update APU quality tracking charts, including Customer Returns and Cost of Non-Quality
• Perform line audits to detect non-compliance with standards and identify necessary corrective actions
• Participate in the eradication of customer and non-quality issues
• Ensure adherence to quality rules during QRQC meetings, applying "Stop at first disagree" principles
• Revise control plans following identified issues
• Verify 4M matrix compliance regarding product or process changes and ensure customer approval
• Update quality documentation following process-related changes
• Verify continuous process conformance through machine capability and yearly product audits
• Exercise authority to stop manufacturing or assembly lines if safety, quality, or standards are compromised
• Represent the customer within Valeo on quality matters and lead communication in a multinational environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Engineering
• 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Previous experience within the automotive industry
